In memory of Chloe the Poodle Princess

I Into my life you came one day
N Nothing would ever tear that bond away

M Meeting you my little one in that special way
E Everything about you immediately showed me that you would stay
M Moments like that are so special indeed
O Oh how I knew that you would meet all my needs
R Richness came twofold that day
Y Yes a little boy and girl I took home to play

O Oh how wonderful it was to have you
F Feeling your soft fur, watching you play with a shoe

C Cuddles and walk in the warm summer sun
H Hopping around always having so much fun
L Loving the water!!!! Oh yes you were a cute little one
O Oh how I remember that day
E Everyone in the park saw you at play

T Then without warning you fell in the water that morning
H Here and there you swam in despair
E Eventually a jogger fished you out just to show they care



P Perfect Princess you became, never changing always the same
O Often as we walked along the tap of your paws sounded like a sweet song
O Over and over you played your games
D Doing those things that would send me insane
L Lots of surprises you gave to us, giving birth you made such a fuss
E Everyone was surprised when a white little one arrived

P Prancing around to each one there, letting us know that you loved us so
R Running back into your brood we could see that you knew this was where you had to go
I In all that you did, and all that you were my girl
N Never did I expect that you would set my life into such a whirl
C Coming to terms with the fact that the years had rolled by
E Everyday looking at you and wondering why, knowing that one-day
God would take you to his home in the sky
S Soon came that day and reality hit that you had to go
S Sweet Midnight Princess it was time for you to go to God & be on show



Chloe the faithfulness that you gave to me will always be evident for others to see.
How delightful it was to watch you train, your obedience was excellent and no other will be the same. You sweet princess stayed with me by my side when my life become a very bumpy ride. I will never forget the giggles I had watching you near the water, what a wonderful time you had as through out the years you continued your fad.
What a pleasure to take you for a walk, never leaving my side, never wanting to stalk.
The memories are true and etched in my heart, and Chloe from there they will never depart. Its so hard to not see you here anymore, I keep expecting to hear those little paws paddle through the door. My house will never be the same losing you is like never hearing it rain. My little one my heart is in so much pain.


Your Midnight Princess has this to say

Mummy I love you, youre the best in the world, and I will always be your special girl. The time we had was marvelous indeed, but God called me home, he had a great need.
When I crossed the bridge it began to rain, it was then that I realized those teardrops were from your pain. But when I arrived at the other side, the rainbow became a wonderful fun slippery slide. I found such love from God up above. And even though you grieve for me, I ask one thing that will make your tears still as can be.
Miss me but let me go, for I am at rest in my new home you know. One day when you close your eyes for all time, I will be waiting there to guide you, what a wonderful pleasant
loving surprise of mine.
So weep no more for I am free. Thats what you my Mummy, wished me to be.
Farewell for just now and think of me as your head you bow. Imagine the glory of Gods angels all around, for they met me as I crossed into their arms so my home could be found. I am safe and Im happy and waiting for you, now off you go theres a lot more on earth for you to do.




Little friend I hear what you say; I release you my darling, go and play.
I know if I listen and close my eyes I can hear your faint bark
up there in the skies.

Just a Dog no way


They say I am just a dog and that I have nothing much to relay
But let me tell you otherwise I understand everything you say
I just like to keep you guessing and thinking I am just having fun
But really I win all the time and keep you on the run

I have so many ways in which I talk to you, I bark a lot and chew on things, like that brand new leather shoe
I have a way I use my eyes to make you understand, that I want that food you munching on in your hand
I use my tail to accentuate my need for a hug, and I will sit there looking until you it does bug
I use my wobble to say I am excited you are here, for there is nothing I like better than to have you close my dear
I then use the sounds that melt your heart, that soft little moan I use, surely lights in your heart a fuse.
And then I use the one thing that makes you understand, I sit on your lap and kiss you so that you feel like you are floating in never land
I then make use of the bed so soft and snuggle in with you, for if I didnt on a winter night your toes would certainly turn bright blue.

So you see I have a lot to say and the play is just some extra to brighten your day, I speak and understand so easily to you and listen to what you say.

Edward my Boy

Once in a lifetime a dog comes along, that brings sunshine to our hearts and turns life into a song.
You see my Edward you did that for me and now I have to set you free.
For you have gone onto rainbow land, and leaving gave me questions that I will never understand.
You always gave me 100%, I wish my Edward that to doggy heaven you never went.
But we cant change what has happened at all, so we now have to allow the tears to freely fall.
I want to pay a tribute to you, because my little Edward I love you I do.


E Everything about you was absolutely grand
D Darling little man always part of my plan
W Wonderful and wise, sweet dark little eyes
A Always in the show ring giving many a surprise
R Running around when you won the crown
D Darling Edward you were the best to be found

M My friend, my companion, my show dog and mate
Y Yes Edward I always thought you were great

B But life must end some day we all know
O Oh how sad it was to watch you to rainbow land go
Y You were loved by us and Melissa as well
So we said good bye and our hearts do swell


You were such a regal boy who gave so much to us
You never wanted very much but we made such a fuss
You won so many shows and on your face the glory would glow
You would jump and somersault and show the judges how
Winning the show title would demonstrate this bow
It was almost like a signature from you, it showed us how pleased you were to win them to

So Edward we will always miss you so much around our house
You were so cleaver& you had so much nous
So on the 2nd of August when we had to say goodbye
We knew that you had entered a home with God in the sky
If we stopped and listened we would have heard the sound
Of all the angels that had gathered to take you to your crown
The music would have been a soft gentle harp to match your sweet little bark
And when you reached the gates and they opened wide for you
It was easy for you to go there for your life had been renewed
No more pain or discomfort for you ever again, but our life on earth will never be the same
We know you are sitting up there at Gods feet, and he is giving you many wonderful little treats
